Qwitter

Ever wonder when someone “unfollows” you from Twitter?  Well if you’re someone that cares to know about those type of things, Qwitter is a really cool resource for you.

All that you have to do is just put your username and email into Qwitter and it will notifiy you when someone stops following you.  It will look like this:

Qwitter Notification

You might not wanna know who is unfollowing or for some you might.  I just stumbled upon Qwitter and I think it’s pretty interesting.  I’ll be testing it out to see what happens.

Don’t forget to follow me on Twitter.

I’d be interested to know what YOU think?

Would you rather know who’s unfollowing you or not know?

6 Comments Posted by Alejandro Reyes on April 18th, 2008 at 11:17 pm

If you read the “What Is Twitter?” post earlier this week, I decided to interview some people regarding Twitter and how it can benefit YOU, the Entrepreneur, in your Internet Business. The response was great.

I was able to interview several Twitterers that are using Twitter and are having some great results with it. Here’s my thoughts on how to use Twitter the benefits that it can provide you.

[youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfeWv2rJUhg 300 250]

Stay tuned next week as I’ll break down the interviews in detail so you can have better understanding on how Twitter can fit you and your marketing efforts.

Have a great weekend and Stay Hungry & Stay Foolish!

If you haven’t met Anthony Blake, you must. There’s a lot of marketers out there that “try” to be someone they’re not, try and cause controversy for no apparent reason, but Tony Blake is authentic as they come. He might curse, he might make you mad, call you out, or even make a video about you, but the guy when it comes to marketing, knows what he’s talking about.

In this interview, Tony shares what he’s been using Twitter for and why you need to start paying attention to the “tech” world folks! There’s a lot of good tips in there on marketing as well.

Make sure to check Tony out at The Blake Forum and also on Twitter here: http://twitter.com/tonyblakelive

This is a great interview with blog consultant, Remarkablogger Michael Martine.

I love this interview because I learned the importance of being “remarkable” on Twitter, provide value to the conversation, it’s going to pay huge dividends.

There’s too many on Twitter that are trying to take, take take, but not give.  If you are willing to give and set yourself up as someone that is remarkable, then Twitter is for you.  If not, good luck.

Make sure to download Michael’s ‘82′ page ebook on “How to Start a Business Blog” and follow him on Twitter at http://twitter.com/remarkablogger.

Thanks so much Michael for some awesome information!

I hope you’re enjoying these Twitter Interviews as much as I am.  There’s a lot of great ideas from folks that have been using it to network, to grow their business, market research etc, but the Internet Marketing Sweetie’s, Alice Seba’s laid back approach is definitely something that you need to hear about.

I think that if more people go on Twitter with a much more casual approach then trying to be the person that wants to get followed by everyone, you’re going to see better results.

Alice Seba has been marketig full time on the internet since 2002 and her “sweet” or nice approach to Internet Marketing has definitely paid of.  Make sure to check out the Internet Marketing Sweetie today with tons of great information and insights of how to do marketing the right way.

Thanks Alice!

Twitter Interview with Kevin Riley

One Comment Posted by Alejandro Reyes on April 16th, 2008 at 1:23 am

Hey folks, I told you in the What is Twitter? post that I was going to be interviewing some folks that are using Twitter to chime in and talk about why they’re using Twitter, what are some of the benefits they’re seeing so far, and how they’re using it.

Fortunately I had some Twitterer’s (or whatever they’re called) that were interested in discussing they’re experience with Twitter thus far.

The first interview is with Kevin Riley of Product Creation Labs. Kevin has a very cool story on Twitter about how he went an idea to creating a product in ONE week just by utilizing Twitter. Kevin shares the communication and networking benefits of Twitter and how it’s going to be around for a VERY long time.

Make sure to follow Kevin on Twitter here: twitter.com/kevinriley

What is Twitter?

I’m sure you’ve probably read a blog, received an instant messenger, got an invite or something that has to do with Twitter in the last couple months right? You’re also probably wondering, what the heck “Twitter” is and how in the world can anything like that benefit your marketing efforts or internet business blog.

Here’s my Twitter Account:  http://twitter.com/successfool

Well I was the same way. I joined Twitter last year sometime and never really did anything with it. I probably would have used it sooner, but I just didn’t understand it at the time. I didn’t get what it was about or anything. I guess I was preoccupied like a lot of people with other things.

Before I go on, let’s answer the question, “What is Twitter?”

According to Wikipedia, “Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows users to send “updates” (or “tweets”; text-based posts, up to 140 characters long) to the Twitter website, via short message service (e.g. on a cell phone), instant messaging, or a third-party application such as Twitterrific or Facebook.

So you can “update” or send “tweets” about anything. You can say good morning to the world, talk about your plans for the day, your travel plans, what you’re cooking, who you’re having lunch with, a blog post you just read or posted, who made you made, who bought you flowers, and end it with a “good night world.”

Twitter is like, Facebook meets, Blogging, meets instant messaging. It really rocks. So whether you wanna connect with old friends, meet new one’s, find out what’s going on in your industry, and learn a lot, Twitter is definitely for you. If you’re someone that doesn’t see the value in networking or market research, I’d probably advise you to stay under your rock and leave Twitter to the cool folks (jk).

My friend Coach Deb told me last week that I “needed” to be on Twitter and how she’s got a couple speaking engagements because of being on Twitter. I took her advice as she’s definitely an expert in social media, hopped on, started connecting with a few people, and started to get a bunch of emails saying, “Person’s Name is now following you on Twitter.” The moment that started to happen, I was hooked. So Twitter, had me at that first email.

So this week, I’m going to be discussing Twitter and how it can benefit you with your Internet Business or online efforts. I’m also going to be interviewing some folks that are on Twitter, why they’re using it? What has come about on it so far? And so on.

So are you on Twitter? What’s your URL? Why are YOU using it?
