Nice job, brutha’s! Sherman is one of the first people I connected with last summer on Facebook & Twitter and he really walks the talk when it comes to providing value to his friends/followers. In addition to demystifying social media technology and putting out awesome tips, we’ve shared thoughts about movies, marriage & kids. That’s what makes social media social.
Twitter has definitely given me a boost in the social media sphere. It’s in the top three traffic generators for my blog, and to your question, this is quality traffic because as Sherman said, you’re tapping into a high quality brain-trust that can provide instant feedback & conversation that often extends to your blog. Using a combo of blogging, Twitter & Facebook have been key to strengthening my business and agree that if you don’t get Twitter, you need to get it to stay successful in the Web 2.0 world.
