January Classes

Chain Reaction by Rose Kasallis

Wednesday January 22nd, 2020 at 12PM

This versatile piece can be worn as a wrap bracelet or a neck piece to compliment a focal pendant. The estimated cost to make this bracelet/necklace wrap is $20 to $35, depending on the style you choose to create. The tools you will need for class are: a macrame board or flat stiff surface such as a clip board, beading needles, fireline, and scissors or thread burner.

Celestia, a Crystal Block Necklace

Wednesday January 22nd, 2020 at 12PM

This project can be adapted from the Original Crystal Block necklace in order to reach a length over 16 inches for those of you who prefer their necklaces at least 20 inches. With the adaption, it can easily be made to whatever length you desire by adding a simple strung neckpiece using 8 mm pearls or beads. The estimated cost to make this necklace is $35 to $45 depending on the beads you choose. The tools you will need and may bring to class are: a bead mat, beading needle, fireline, and scissors. Optional beading aides would be a thread burner and a thread conditioner. All of the items are available at the store if you do not have them already and would add an additional cost of $12 to the class.

Tassel by MGS

in this class we will be teaching you how to create this tassel using the pattern Ice Crystal Tassel by MGS Designs. I have adapted the pattern to insure wearability and disability of the piece. The estimated cost to make this project depends on the beads you choose. The pattern calls for fire polish, I substituted round Swarovski crystals. I will estimated the cost to run $25 to $40 depending on the beads you choose. The tools you will need and may bring to class are: a bead mat, size 11 or 12 beading needle, 6 lb. fireline, and scissors. Optional tools you might consider are: a thread burner and a thread conditioner such as beeswax. All theses items are available for sale int he store, however would add an additional cost to the class of approximately $12.



February Classes

Saphirra by Susan Barrett

The estimated cost to make the Saphirra necklace can range from $25 to $55 depending on the beads you choose. The sample is made with gold delicas and seed beads, therefore on the higher end of the cost. The cost includes profession detailed instruction on how to create the piece. The tools you will need and may bring to class are: a bead mat, beading needle size 11 or 12, fireline 6 lb., and scissors. All these items are available for purchase in the store, however it would add an additional cost of $12 to $15 to the class cost. Additional beading aids would be a thread conditioner such as beeswax, and a thread burner.
